The Aiming for Accuracy quilt-along (QAL) was held in the Summer/early Fall of 2013. The lessons, blocks and detailed photo tutorials have been removed from this site and are now available for sale as a complete booklet.
Find out more about it here: Aiming for Accuracy Booklet.
Hi everyone! Below are the prizes for Lesson 5 of our quilt-along. The link to submit your Lesson 5 photo(s) is below as well as the photos that have been submitted. Continue to visit this page to see the new submissions.
Lesson 5: Prizes
Denise Clason has donated her latest book, Sewing Vintage Aprons. It contains eleven different apron patterns, two oven mitt styles, one table runner, place mats, some wonderful apron memories and vintage recipes to excite your inner chef!
Teri of Country Living Quilts has donated a $15 gift certificate for use in her online shop.
Our friends at Simplicity have donated four of their Easy Square Junior Ruler. This is one of my favourite tools for squaring up half-square triangle units. I love the easy-to-read lines on this ruler and use if quite often when cutting scrappy patches too. Two of these rulers will be awarded for this lesson.
Eileen of PineValley Quilting has donated three of her Baker’s Dozen Squared table runner patterns. Two will be awarded for this lesson.
Submit your Photo(s)
To be eligible to win one of the prizes shown above for Lesson 5, you must submit your photo to this site using the link below. Be sure to read the instructions on the following pages.
If you are making more than one version of the quilt, you can submit one photo in each different colourway, for additional entries. For example, if you are making the quilt in three different fabric sets, you can enter three times by submitting three different photos. Don’t submit one photo with more than one colourway or you’ll only be entered once.
Photos for this lesson are due Friday, August 2nd, 2013 at midnight (EDT). Amy Gay, our volunteer prize coordinator, will be notifying the winners. You can continue to share your photos after this date if you like.
Lesson 5 is Units A1 and A2 combined, incuding the sashing strips. The photo you submit should be the complete lesson.
NOTE: The link to upload photos is different for each lesson. Always click on the appropriate blog post entry to submit your photos each week.
