Between Heaven and Texas Blog Hop

Today’s stop on the Between Heaven and Texas Blog Hop tour has us visiting Melissa Corry over at Happy Quilting.

While I try not to play favourites, Melissa’s Star Value block knocked my socks off, so to speak. (It’s sandal season, no socks required until September or October if we’re lucky.) In its scrappy wonderfulness, it’s exactly the kind of block that makes me happy. It’s fantastic for busting scraps. Melissa has also included additional size options to make this block.

Visit Melissa’s blog to download her Star Value block tutorial here. Be sure to enter her give-away too to win a copy of Between Heaven and Texas.

Plus, there’s still time to enter to win a copy of the book here too.

Also, I do hope you’ll make an extra block or two to send to Jennifer of Sew Hooked, as she’ll be putting together the blocks into quilts for The Linus Connection. More info here on this charity initiative.

We have a Flickr group set up for you to share your completed blocks and you can follow along on Facebook too.

See you tomorrow, when we’ll be visiting with Jo and Kelli at Jo’s Country Junction.

The block is so pretty with all the scraps of color-really enjoyed seeing it-and look forward to making it when all blocks are put on site.
