Between Heaven and Texas Blog Hop

Today we have two bloggers for you to visit for the Between Heaven and Texas Blog Hop tour.

First, drop by at Pat Sloan’s to listen to a radio interview she did with Marie a couple of weeks ago and other interviews from years past too. They are sure to be entertaining.

Then, drop by at Kim’s from Persimon Dreams to pick up the tutorial and templates for the gorgeous star block she created: Starry Night.

I owe Kim a huge thank you for stepping in at the last minute to be Pat’s apprentice and create the star block for us as Pat’s crazy teaching schedule meant she couldn’t get one done. So, thanks Kim!!

Be sure to visit both blogs as they will each be giving away a copy of Marie’s book, and Pat has a bonus offer, strips from her newest, and can I say my favourite of hers, fabric line due out later this year, Bobbins & Bits.

Plus, there’s still time to enter to win a copy of the book here too.

Please consider making an extra block or two to send to Jennifer of Sew Hooked, as she’ll be putting together the blocks into quilts for The Linus Connection. More info here on this charity initiative.

We have a Flickr group set up for you to share your completed blocks and you can follow along on Facebook too.

See you tomorrow, when we’ll be visiting with Melissa from Happy Quilting for her star block …. I’ve seen it already and it’s going to knock your socks off how gorgeous it is.

P.S. There’s still time to enter this week’s Show & Tell event. The theme is Appliqué quilts. You have until Friday at 8:00 a.m. EDT to enter.

I read so much and so many different books but all time favorite has to be the Bible. Can’t wait to read Marie’s latest book, I just found out about her through this book tour information. I just finished the first book in her series and started the second. I loved the first and love series that continue the characters.
