Show & Tell: Favourite Quilt from 2012

Happy New Year everyone! It’s time for me to get back to work and also for our first Quilters’ Show & Tell event.

I have discontinued the weekly quilt contests that I have hosted for the past three years, and instead will be doing weekly Quilters’ Show and Tell events. The idea is very similar to the past, but simpler. If you missed the announcement post at the end of last year, you can read it here.

Quilters' Show & Tell

The theme for this week’s Show & Tell is your Favourite Quilt from 2012. The quilt you submit can be any style and technique and, new for this year, it does NOT have to be finished either. Let’s see what you’ve been working on or recently finished.

You have until Friday, January 11th at 8:00 a.m. (EST) to enter. Voting will start shortly after and last until Monday, January 14th at 8:00 a.m. (EST).

To enter, read the updated guidelines then submit your quilt photo here!

New for this year, each week we’ll have two guest judges that will each have 100 points to award to their favourite quilt(s). Plus each Friday there will also be a give-away that everyone can enter by leaving a comment on the voting blog post.

This week, dear quilting friend Pat Sloan has agreed to be our first judge. I’ll also serve as the second judge this week, since I forgot to invite another guest in time. Ooops! It’s so hard to get organized after taking a long holiday. :)

Let’s have some fun with this year’s Quilters’ Show & Tell.

P.S. Please add one of the banners to your own blog. The more submissions, the more FUN!
