Weekly Quilt Contest: Thanksgiving/Gratitude Quilts
The theme for this week’s quilt contest is Thanksgiving/Gratitude Quilts. Completed (quilted and bound) quilts, wall hangings, table runners of any size can be entered. Anyone can enter the contest, not just my American friends to the south. Submissions need to fit in with the theme.
This week’s sponsor is Ebony Love from LoveBug Studios and she has an exciting new book to tell you about: Notes & Doodles: A Die Cutting Sketchbook. The winner of this week’s contest will win two copies too.
LoveBug Studios
Hi, I’m Ebony Love from LoveBug Studios, and this week I’d like to tell you more about my second book, Notes & Doodles: A Die Cutting Sketchbook.
I have so much to be thankful for this year. To name just a few, I am thankful for regaining my health after an extended illness, and thankful to be a twice-published author in the same year!
Back in September during the Group Exchange Contest, I introduced you to my first book, The Big Little Book of Fabric Die Cutting Tips. Well, that book has been released to rave reviews, and is now available for immediate shipping via my Artfire store.
As I was working on the original book, so many people requested space for notes, but I wasn’t able to fit in very many pages. Plus, at 256 pages, The BLB is a little impractical to carry around as a notebook. I thought the best thing for everyone would be to develop a sketchbook that could stand on its own. From that idea, Notes & Doodles was born!
Inside the sketchbook, you’ll find 12 notes pages interspersed between 57 grid pages. What makes this little sketchbook really special though is that there are 21 of my top tips for die cutters, which means that you really are getting a more portable version of the original book!
The sketchbook is 8.5″ x 5.5″, 96 pages, and spiral bound so it lays flat.
Here’s a little peek inside of the sketchbook at the types of pages you’ll find:
The sketchbook is scheduled to ship in late December/early January. If you’d like to place a pre-order for the sketchbook, you can get it in my Artfire store.
Through December 21, if you add the sketchbook to your cart, you can use coupon code SKETCH to save $3 on your order. (If you place a pre-order and you end up winning the contest, your money will be refunded.)
The winner of this week’s contest will receive 2 copies of the sketchbook when it ships – one to keep, and one for a friend!

Can you help?
I have an immediate need for more team leaders that can assemble the quilt blocks, quilt, bind and ship the quilts for the Sandy Quilt Block Drive.
Important Notice: Google Reader will cease to exist on July 1, 2013. According to my stats, this will impact 75% of the readers that follow my blog via RSS. That's significant. Please consider using one of the alternatives I have suggested. I'd hate to lose you.
