The theme for this week’s quilt contest is Dots, Checks, Stripes. You are free to interpret the theme as you see fit. Your quilt may represent the theme in the design and/or in the fabrics chosen. Any quilting style is acceptable. Please submit quilts of any size that are completely finished, i.e. quilted and bound.

Granma’s Treasures

Granma’s Treasures has been in business 18 years in Wray, CO, and changed location five times. We began is an oversized family room, making dolls, decorations, and table linens to sell on the craft fair circut, and evolved into an at home collectibles shop. Three moves later, we own a beautiful old bank building, which we remodeled extensively in 2008. We now offer quilting fabrics, needlework supplies, children’s books and toys, and a few select gift lines. We do offer classes, and also one-on-one instruction. We do some machine quilting, and make table linens for sell – the one thing that hasn’t changed in 18 years!

The picture below is of the West side of my building, which my granddaughter painted a mural on a couple of years ago. It stops a lot of traffic, aided by the stoplight on the corner, of course.

The quilt with teddy bears in a rocking chair, is my logo, designed because we love quilting, handcrafts, and antique furniture!
