It has 4 pockets inside but I added 3 extra ones. It has a adjustable strap for shoulder use or over the chest. I used #10 snaps instead of magnet closures as I was worried about my embroidery machine software.Was a fun bag to do.

I picked the design for this tote from one of Jo-Ann’s freebies. I made the handles a little wider and added a flower with leaves for the middle instead of layered circles hanging off the tie. I also added three pockets for the inside. This is my first time entering a contest with my crafty items

I made this from a pattern by Sherri K. Falls of This and That. I altered it slightly by adding a zipper closure and front and back slash pockets. It has 6 pockets on the inside and is nice and roomy to carry just about everything you need. I love-love-love these fabrics!

This little kitty cat iPhone case was modeled after a friend’s real-life kitten. It’s made out of fleece and flannel and the zipper is where the phone is inserted. I embroidered the face & paws and used reverse applique for the stripes. A band of Velcro keeps it securely attached to her arm.

The modern patchwork design on the bag was done carefully so that both sides are identical. It has a magnetic closure and two inner pouches – one with a zipper and the other with Velcro. The two-sided handles are made with the pink lining fabric one side and patchwork on the other side.

This tote was made earlier this year for a swap. I machine quilted in the ditch around the compass, and it became one of the 4 pockets on this purse. I like my totes nice and big, and I actually made separate sides for it.

I made this bag (pattern by “The Creative Thimble”) that my sister fell in love with and immediately claimed as hers. She has totally worn this one out–plus 2 others. When she asked for a 4th bag, I told her she would have to help me make it and we are currently working on that one together.

My purse, The Phoenix, represents rebirth, renewal and immortality. It is also a very colorful creature of gold, scarlet, purple, blue and green which I translated into my hand painted and dyed fabric.
Designing the purse, adding embellishments is the most enjoyable part of the process for me.

They sent entrants three spools of thread and a zipper to use in a “quick gift”, and I decided to really showcase the threads, so I quilted this diamond shaped plaid fabric myself.

This tote was made as a quilt guild project. I like the color red and I like black complements. This tote has many large pockets so I can carry many things! I sewed large buttons on the bottom of the bag to reduce wear and tear. This project was loads of fun!
