Let the Blog Hopping Give-Away Party Begin

cat books schoolBlog Hop Party

It’s party time … are you ready to have some fun, meeting new quilters around the world and entering their give-aways? When I review the blogs, I only have a chance to quickly glance at what’s being given away, but I can tell you there’s lots of fabric, patterns, notions and even someone offering free quilting. Wowzers! So many prizes that I’d like to win myself. I think the hostess should win them all, don’t you?

Before I send you off to Party … for those new here, let me tell you a bit about my site. I’m Michele Foster, aka Mishka, your hostess for the blog hop party and owner of this web site, Quilting Gallery. I hope you’ll spend a few minutes checking out the various sections of my site including:

This summer, Pat Sloan and I have been hosting a Beginner’s Quilt Along. It’s been so much FUN! We’re almost done now, but you can find the block tutorials and join in at any time. I’ll be hosting a Level 2 Beginner’s QAL next year as well.

Beginner’s Quilt-Along

I also host swaps and other various events which you’ll find in the Quilter’s Fun section. Each week I host a weekly themed quilt contest too. Vote now for the Solid Quilts contest or enter the Leaves, Trees & Flowers contest for next week.

Weekly Themed Quilt Contests

Plus, this Autumn, I’m thrilled to be hosting 45 designers on the site who will be creating blocks and tutorials for you to make. Our Autumn Block Party starts September. 4th.

Glorious Autumn Block Party and Super Deals for Quilters

Whew .. yes, it’s busy around here! You can keep in touch by subscribing to my weekly newsletter or our Facebook group.

My Give-Aways

I’m giving away 11 prizes to 9 winners. Woohoo! I will ship international too.

I have five packages of True Grips, one package per winner. You add these to the backside of your ruler to prevent it from slipping.

I have four tubes of Lapel Glue Stick, two winners will get two each. I love this glue stick for freezer paper appliqué, temporarily joining binding strips, attaching binding to the back for machine stitching and mending clothing. It’s a handy product to have around.

Last, I have two specialty rotary cutters from Clover. They are used for making Faux Chenille Fabric. Instructions are included in the packaging.

  34. karen says:

I was a slip n’ slide kinda kid, loved getting wet in the summer with ours.. SO, stands to reason, I’d love the True Grips offer, as it would keep my rulers from slip n’ sliding along the fabric.. tee hee.. My favorite part of fall here in our mountain town is the knowing snow will becoming right around the bend once the temperatures drop, and leaves are all dropped. Love the white flakes of falling snow – but gotta have the crisp falling leaves first.. and pulling out my beloved sweatshirts!!!

  35. I love the cool crisp air of the fall and the fact it leads into my favorite season to run in (if I can run this winter that is).

  36. Margaret R says:

I would love the label stick. I have been wanting to try it but they don’t carry it in my local store. I love the falling leaves and how they crackle when you walk through them.

  37. I love the changing of the leaves and all the beautiful colors that occur in fall. I would choose the chenille cutter if you drew my name.
THanks for arranging this fun blog hop- I am working my way through and hoping that I still can get into the fun giveaways. I am a teacher in my professional life and not had much computer time this week.
    Regards from Western Canada,

  40. Susan Smith says:

Fall is my favorite season. That is when the gardens are harvested, the pumpkin pies are baked and the apple cider is drank. Football season starts. It is also when our church Craft Days start up again due to the summer being to busy. We will quilt and have a great time together. Thank you for taking so much time and effort with the website and blog, thank Milo also for giving you a few minutes to offer these items. Thank you for letting us choose which item we would like to win. I would appreciate the True Grips or the Fabric Glue. I don’t not work with Chenille.

  43. Sherri D says:

I would actually use the True Grips, so that would be my choice. I adore fall/autumn. I can go for walks again with my dog. The air is cleaner. The holidays are around the corner. Oh, and my birthday is in October, husbands is in December, and youngest son’s is in November. It is a busy time of year. I just feel so energized! Fall vegetables are ready and taste soooooo yummy! I am fond of Acorn squash. I could go on and on! lol
Thanks for participating in and more so for organizing the blog hop! I’ve had a lot of fun today, touring all the blogs I could find that were still open. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend the day…in between sewing a bit, of course! :)
