NEW Block Party and Other Reminders
Things are hopping BUSY here this week. I have a new event to announce and reminders about other things going on too.
It’s time for some quilting fun this Fall. Over 15 weeks, 45 designers will create blocks for the Glorious Autumn Block Party. These blocks will be featured, three per week, on the Quilting Gallery site starting September 4th. In addition to the blocks, there will be Super Deals for Quilters from our favourite online retailers.
I’m looking for Featured Designers and Super Deal Advertisers for this event.

Registration ends tomorrow at Noon (EDT) for the Friendship Embroidery Mini Quilt Swap. Lenna and I have been thrilled with the response to this event. I still have ~100 emails to review, which I’ll get to late tonight.
If you want to join the swap, we’d love to have you, just remember to do the three required things BEFORE noon tomorrow.
They are:
(1) register for the swap,
(2) respond to the email sent to you confirming that your info is accurate, and
(3) pay the registration fee.
Our Back to School Blog Hop Party starts this Sunday. The list of participating bloggers will be made available Sunday just after midnight. If you wish to host a give-away on your blog during this event, you must register in advance.

I missed joining in on this Bloghop as we were on vacation. Today I went thru many of the blogs and many of them require to like them on Facebook, Twiter about them or like them on pinterst. I hate that so many blogs are wanting you to jump thru hoops, If you like them, then you like them and do so, but it shouldn’t be required to win, that’s like buying a vote!
And I wish people would turn off the security feature in order to post a comment.
Thanks for hosting the Back to School Bloghop Party
I agree .. and I made the strong suggestion that they not require people to jump through hoops, unfortunately some didn’t listen. I’ll make note of the security note for the next party. Blogger has made them so incredibly difficult
