I embroidered these blocks on my embroidery machine a while ago, it’s the same tree, just changed the thread colors and omitted the leaves on the winter tree. The designed the quilt in EQ7 as a log cabin and made them match the blocks, densely quilted feathers and bubbles and lines all over quilt.

Slime mold was inspired by an microscope image from Scientific American wisted by my swap partner. I don’t know what it is, but Slime Mold seemed to fit, thus the name. It includes raw edge applique, hand dyed fabric, embroidery, beading, machine and hand quilting.
