I shared on Facebook, but wasn’t able to add you to the FB link. Thank you for starting the beginner’s quilt-along

  20. Jo says:

I have a charm pack of Salt Air. Would that work for the colored/prints parts of each block? Would one charm pack be enough? Thanks!

  21. Mishka says:

Yes, you could use 5″ charm packs if you wanted to for the first 12 blocks. Charms won’t work for Block 13. I’d suggest having a consistent background fabric with them otherwise the designs created by the blocks will be lost. You’ll need 2 charm packs of 40 charms, plus 1 yard of background.

I believe I retweeted the post, and I was going to share on Facebook, I tried to tag you – hope it worked!! Thanks so much for doing this — My iron died yesterday!!

  23. I added the logo and link! This is the first time I’ve been able to do that. The instruction link you gave was very helpful. I’m swamped with trying to finish up some family quilts but am hopeful to do the Quilt Along. Haven’t pulled any fabric yet but am thinking of doing it in Christmas fabric and will have one Christmas gift finished early!

  26. I put it on the side bar of my blog and it links back to your page. This is a great idea doing a beginner quilt along. I have so many projects going, I won’t have time to participate but look forward to seeing the project as it moves along.
