Another Give-Away Party!

GiveawayDay

This week, it’s Sew, Mama, Sew’s give-away days. I realize I’m a bit late to the party which started on Monday, but hopefully better late than never, right?

If you’re new to the Quilting Gallery, Welcome! In honour of our 4th birthday, I’ve also organized a Quilter’s Blog Hop Party which started last Saturday. On my give-away post for that event, Happy Birthday, Quilting Gallery! you’ll find out more about my site and several lovely prizes including Aurifil threads. You can enter both give-aways!

For this party, here’s what I have to give-away. Two charm packs of the Sonnet Collection by April Cornell for Moda Fabrics. These are 5″ squares of beautiful fall-coloured woven fabrics. Plus two lovely packages of hand-painted buttons from Incomparable Buttons.

How to Enter, How to Win!

Leave a comment below. One entry per person. Duplicate entries will be deleted. Two winners will be chosen randomly December 18th.

Answer the following: What’s your weather like? Will you have a white Christmas? Here in Ottawa, our weather has been most unusual. We’ve had about an inch of snow a few weeks ago, other than that, nothing. Mind you, I’m not complaining as I’m a sunshine, hotter the better, type!

Be sure to visit the other blogs in the Sew, Mama, Sew’s give-away days!

P.S. The give-away is open to all site visitors.

  1. Stephanie says:

Greetings from Calgary. We have snow but above zero temperatures. This may be the first year I bike right up ’til Christmas!

  2. Dianne says:

We had a good snow fall last week in New Brunswick but the rain has washed it away! A few flakes Christmas Eve would be enough for me. Happy Holidays!

  3. Cheryl Unger says:

Love April Cornell, I have made a very large quilt in her fabrics a while back for my daughter and it is beautiful.

  4. Quilterbell says:

It is quite cold in Dublin, we saw a bit of snow today. Thank you for the chance!

  5. Christine says:

Sunny here one day raining the next..unusually cool for summer….love to enter your giveaway.

  6. Garnet says:

Still thinking autumn with warm, sunny Southwest weather.

  7. Barb Colvin says:

Gloomy :( It has been cloudy for weeks with just a skiff of snow. The air quality has been lousy, too. I wish these clouds would drop some snow (or even some rain, but it is too cold for that). White Christmas? Doesn’t look promising (sigh)

  8. Dennis says:

Hi just wanted to let you know that I visited every blog that was entered. Most I entered to win some I just looked at but all of them took me 3 days to do it. Thank you for hasting the party.

  9. Erin says:

It’s been rainy here. Looks like no snow for Christmas. :(

  10. Anne-Marie says:

grey now and still no snow Toronto! Ottawa is our only hope for snow – we will be there Christmas Eve so fingers crossed for both of us !

  11. jmniffer says:

In my part of Minnesota it is still bare groud. No snow. We had rain recently and there are even lawns with a bit of green in them! Not normal at all, but I am a happy. The shorter the winter, the better. Thanks for a chance at your giveaway.

  12. Mika says:

It’s so far been a mostly warm winter which is odd. We had a little bit of snow once, but not much yet!

  13. DebbieKL says:

Not sure that we’ll have a white Xmas this year – it’s been windy and rainy lately! :(

  14. Jean says:

I live in SEQld, Australia and our weather is very unpredictable, we should be sweltering as its summer, instead its cooler, cloudy and showery, looks ideal weather for a hot traditional Christmas feast.

  15. Billie Kneen says:

Here in Vanderhoof, British Columbia we are definitely going to be having a white Christmas! Four fresh inches of the white stuff fell last night alone. Snow means cold so of course what else can a girl do but quilt in the evenings. Merry Christmas everyone!

  16. Beverley says:

It is damp and raining here in Cloverdale British Columbia. It is rare that we have a White Christmas but that doesn’t stop me from Hoping. I love to look out on Christmas Morning and see everything covered in white.

  17. Marguerite says:

Nice… it’s muggy here (Houston), but they promise us it will get a bit cooler soon. 80 degrees yesterday!

  18. Chris says:

A wk & a half ago we had 8″ of snow & the very cold temps some of the snow is still here. On Thurs we had 45 mpr winds from the NW & today sunny & a little bit less windy. The forecast for next wk is snow so we’re all excited about this. When it’s bitter cold the guys say ‘makin ice’ for ice fishing ha ha ha.

Thank you for this free give-a-way.

    Happy Holidays

    Chris Medford, WI USA

  19. Sue says:

Our weather has been dry. The ski resorts are complaining, but I’m not because snow makes taking care of the beasties much harder.

  20. Today it is 30C and Christmas Day is going to be warm too.
I live in Australia and no snow for Christmas here.

  21. We had our first snow this evening!
    Thanks for this give away!

  22. Stella Whittingham says:

In Australia our Christmases are normally HOT, HOT, HOT, and this year is no exception. What I would give to lay in the snow and make a snow angel.

  23. Serena says:

Well, today it’s clear and sunny, but cool. I’ve heard it’s supposed to snow in time for Christmas, though.

  24. Katina Hronas says:

Our weather is rainy and balmy and in the 50’s. It does not appear we will be having a white christmas this year. But then again, we usually don’t!!

    Thanks for the great giveaway!

  25. Peggy says:

It was -15C this morning and we have a bit of snow on the ground. We may have a white Christmas yet…

  26. kathy 0sterby says:

Right now its about 30 and not much chance of a white Christmas yet. But in my area “just wait it changes evert hour”

  27. Tara B says:

It’s cold. Not sure if we’ll have snow on the ground this year. It’s snowed a couple of times already, but nothing has stuck around for very long.

  28. Carolyn says:

Warm and sunny with a slight breeze off the ocean. The high was in the low 80’s. We’re expecting a cold front this weekend!!! The high may be the mid 70’s!!!! No chance for snow here in South Florida. I’ve only seen it snow down here twice and both times it melts before it hits the ground.

  29. Upstate NY has had pretty mild weather lately, though it’s cold today. We only had a dusting of snow once 2 or 3 weeks ago. I wouldn’t mind many more snowless days, it’s much easier to get around. I suspect though that we’ll be socked with a big storm any time now. We’re due.

  30. Hilary says:

It should be hot and sunny here in Sydney, but we are having the coldest summer in a long time – it’s mid December and I’m wearing a jumper…unheard of!!

  31. deanna Daugherty says:

There’s no telling what it will be like here in Texas. We say if you don’t like the weather, wait a few minutes because it will change. Today will be sunny and in the 50s. By next weekend it could snow. We are going to get some much needed rain the first part of the week.

  32. Laurie says:

Well I’m in Ottawa too.. .so you know too well what kind of weather we have… Seriously! The grass is greener now than it was in the summer! LOL Not sure we’re going to have a white christmas… but that’s ok, makes it easier driving to relatives homes during the holiday. :)

  33. Lesley says:

Weather in Nova Scotia has been mild this week! Hope it continues until travellers are safe and sound where they have to be! Thank you for hosting such a great blog party!

  34. The weather here in the Houston, TX area is still dry we are about 27″ short on rain for the year. The weather is warm we have had mid 60’s this week. Thanks for hosting….

  35. I wish more people had mentioned their actual location….I am in a little town 50 miles east of Atlanta, Ga. It is typical Atlanta weather…Christmas shopping in shirt sleeves during the day, and grabbing for a winter coat at sundown. Been here 40 years and have seen only once a snow on Christmas night. Merry Christmas to all and thanks for this site!

  36. BEVERLY SILVESTRE says:

The weather here in sunny Southern California is not so sunny! We are having a cold spell with a little rain thrown in here and there. Down to the chlly 50’s, brrrr!

  37. CathyC in Alberta says:

Just outside Edmonton, Alberta: Late last night, we had freezing rain then the snow started coming down. Woke up to 2 inches. Temperatures have been above normal this winter.
Thanks for the great blog party. I’m fairly new to following blogs. Would be nice if we could print out the list of participants. My computer kept crashing, which resulted in losing my place several times. End result..missed entering a lot of the giveaways.
