This runner is made from a pattern by John Adams from Fat Quarterly magazine. I had been saving my collection of Japanese indigo linens purchased in Tokyo by a colleague about 8 years ago. Finally, this pattern spoke to me! I hand quilted dragonflies and did some simple machine quilting as well.

I pieced all the points by hand on my travels then completed the blocks at home. I made a smaller version for my mother to hang on the wall as she loved it so much. It is long arm machine quilted. It goes so well with the colors of my dining room chairs.
