Quilting Gallery Blog

Winners from last week’s Give-Aways

Guest blogger, Beth Helfter, donated a "Funky Tree Farm" pattern kit.

The winner of Beth’s kit is #87 Anna Pfeil who wrote:

I am a semi beginner quilter and I only say that because I like the piecing and planning part of quilting. I made my first quilt 30 years ago from a pamphlet . It had over a thousand pieces. I had to make the templates myself. I wish that there were quilting classes available then, I would not have been so overwhelmed and would have made a better finished project (and easier.) Thank you for your blog post.

Looking for something to read during your coffee break, the comments left on Beth’s post are very inspiring. Thanks to everyone who shared a little about his/her own quilting journey.

Pioneer writer Linda Hubalek, donated a kindle version of her Stitch of Courage book.

The winner of Linda’s book is #21 Lee who wrote:

Hi Linda
I had not heard of your books over here is Australia but when I read about them through Michele’s Quilting Gallery I was so excited. I have just got a Kindle and will now HAVE to find some of your books to download. I would definitely rename the quilt “Tulip Time”.
Look forward to reading your books.

Thanks to everyone for participating.

Check back later today, as one of my most favourite authors has just released her latest book, and she’s giving away a copy to one of my lucky readers.
