A Font for Patrick A Font for Patrick

This quilt was done for a Guild challenge of Holiday or Season. And for me personally, a challenge to work with free motion stitching.
The image I was trying for is a shrine in the woods with a small spring in front of it.

Now is this St Patrick’s or not…..lol… It is green and it is Irish…I like doing this pattern…strip piece it very quickly and always looks fresh.

Irish Irish
By: Judee K., California, USA

The pattern is from Patrick Lose’s Poster Quilts book. It is appliqued and quilted. I made another one to give to a cousin who has her Irish citizenship. Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day.

Irish Chain times 3 Irish Chain times 3
By: I Am Just One Mom, New Mexico, USA

This triple Irish Chain quilt was made for an O’BRIEN family fundraising event for my cousin’s son. I put the final stitches on it on the flight to the fundraiser. And then my sweet husband outbid everyone (and my smart cousins caught onto his plan & pumped up the bids for such a good cause)!

Noriko's Bear Paw Noriko’s Bear Paw
By: Kitty, California, USA

Noriko hand-drew templates – hand-cut patches – & hand-pieced 11 blocks + 2 corner units of block #12 before giving them to me when she moved. I machine pieced block #12 – altering the design slightly and used the remaining patches for 3 blocks on the back. See my post Saturday for the full story.
