Bits and Pieces from the Quilting Web

I love paper/foundation-piecing and flowers. Check out Jinny’s Garden. A free BOM project that ends this month (February), so you’ll have to HURRY to download all of the patterns.

Melissa is hosting a Be Mine Sew-Along teaching how to make the cathedral windows block which will be used to create a pillow. I adore this block and am eagerly following along with the sew-along.

Have you been following along with Shruti’s fabulous Sewing Spaces Feature? Twenty-four guest bloggers share their sewing spaces and storage solutions. I’ve enjoyed the series and have several new ideas to implement in my own sewing area.

Yesterday it was my turn to be a guest blogger. Instead of showing off my messy room (haha!), I share some of my favourite digital tools to help keep me organized and some-what productive. Read about my Virtual Space!

Becky has put together a great tutorial on making a Nintendo DS Carry Bag. Super cute!

Coming soon, nominate your favourite designer, teacher, author, quilter, quilt shop, and more in this year’s 2011 Golden Quilter Awards brought to you by SewCalGal.

Thanks for the great link to Jinny Beyer’s paper piecing flowers. Paper piecing is something I definitely want to get better at. Now to check out the other great links, thanks!
