Vote Now: Colourful Modern Quilts
Oh WOW, there are a lot of amazing quilts this week. Grab yourself a cup or two of coffee and browse the gorgeous Colourful Modern Quilts for this week’s themed quilt contest. Thanks to everyone that has entered and shared their beautiful creations with us.
This week’s contest is sponsored by the Fat Quarter Shop who have donated two fat quarter bundles of Beach Mod Circa 60 for this week’s winners. The contestant with the most votes will win the Voter’s Choice and another contestant will win the Judge’s Choice.
Wanted: Sponsors for upcoming weekly contests. This is a great opportunity to have your shop and/or quilting products featured here. Contact me!
Now it’s time for you to vote for your favourite!
- Voting is open Friday – Sunday @ 11:59 p.m.
- One vote per IP address (NOT email address), so have your family and friends cast a ballot for their favourite quilt (from home if you send it to coworkers)
- Winner announced Monday!
How to Vote:
- Review the photos and stories below… there are several, so you’ll need to scroll down to see them all.
- Underneath the photos, scroll down, you’ll see the names of all the quilts with a circular button** beside each one. Select the button for the quilt you want to vote for.
- Then scroll down, all the way, until you get to the bottom of the names of quilts. Then press the vote button.
** Note: If you don’t see the circular buttons to vote, but instead see the voting results, that means someone on your IP Address already voted or that the voting period has ended. Shared IP Addresses are very common in home or work networks.
Please Note: If you are not seeing all of the photos, check your browser settings. Go to view, and text size. Make sure it’s set at medium. If you need web sites to be larger so you can read them more easily, then use the browser’s Zoom function, not the text resize. This is a known bug and hopefully I’ll have it fixed soon.

LOVE THIS THREAD!
THANKS FOR SHARING!
A little confused – joined late through Quilting Gallery, so had already commented on the previous post – not sure if I was to comment a second time, but here it – love Aurifil thread!
Your Aurifil post seems to have closed comments so I thought I would post here to let you know thanks for the chance to win and the free quilt block pattern!
I always have probs seeing the ‘bottom’ quilts when I want to vote. What I’ve found works for me is to double-click on a word (any word) in the last description I can see, then TAB a time or two. That usually takes me to the next (hidden) quilt. I can continue TABbing until I’ve seen all the quilts competing, then vote for my favorite!
Cannot get into the Aurifil comment section to post comment. It states that there are 416 comments but only 404 show up . Last page seems to be missing.
With all the snow around here I vote for spring with all it’s newness and freshness. Ans you do not hae to shovel it !
Cute block.
I can’t leave a comment in yesterdays post. So I’m leaving it here. My favorite season is Spring. I love the tulips and the way the air smells.
Thought I had left a comment about winter being my favorite…but I don’t see it…I hope I did this right on the other ones!
Neat website.
Yet again a great display of talent, well done to all.
Thanks for sharing all these beautiful quilts. It was very hard to pick just one. I loved all the talent and all the stories that went along with each quilt. I especially like the one about the song. I thought that was so need. What a beautiful display.
I thought the song one was so neat. My daughter has songs pop into her head at different times. It doesn’t matter what’s she is doing, but she has to write it down. I hope the dear one gets her song finished.
It was almost impossible to choose just one. These are some of the most beautiful quilts that I’ve seen entered in any of your contests! I am still thinking on which one will get my vote. It’s down to two……..
They are all so wonderful. Sincere appreciation for everyone’s work.
I like the broken dishes quilt. It’s one I would like to use on my bed. I always look at quilts that would look at for the bedroom.grace
I like the broken crayons quilt. It’s one I would like to use on my bed. I always look at quilts that would look at for the bedroom.grace
Loooove all the blue on the Tennessee Madness!!
Wow hard to pick just one! So many lovely creations made by talented, crafty people… Love this weeks entries!!
Absoutely love Tennessee Madness ~ gorgeous quilt! I know Angela Mourer has Multiple Sclerosis and her mobility is compromised yet she manages to make design and make exquisite quilts.
tenessee madness for sure! it’s beautiful, and amazing she can make such beautiful things with such a terribly debilitating disease! kudos, and we hope you win!
Tennessee Madness is a beautiful quilt. The fact that Angela can do this while dealing with such a horrible disease is truly amazing!
Is a winner going to be announced??
