I can be forgetful, busy and side-tracked… that’s my excuse anyway. I totally forgot to pick and announce the winner for the Fall into Fall Quilters Blog Give-Away.

Hmmmmm, the one thing I wish I knew when I first started quilting……ah, don’t mix poly-cottons with 100% cotton! My first quilt is a mix and that was okay then, but not now. I use 100% cotton for almost every project (I crazy quilt, too, and anything goes when I am crazy quilting). Best tip……Many years ago, I saw a friend using 1/4″ masking tape to mark quilt lines on a baby quilt. Her project was so evenly quilted and I’ve used it ever since when I hand-quilt! :-)
