Fall Fairy Fall Fairy
By: Maya, California, USA

This quilt was made for a fall themed mini quilt swap. My partner loves fairies, so I made her a fall fairy. I started with a coloring page image. I appliqued the fairy on in parts, made a dress layer on top, added wings and finally her features. This project taught me a lot!

Blocks are from Eleanor Burns Underground Railroad book. I began with a Feathered Star for the center of medallion and surrounded it with sashing and pieced borders. The edge treatment is prairie points folded to the middle, this edge has lots of texture. My first free motion quilting project

Harvest Market Harvest Market
By: Darlene Gerber, Ohio, USA

Harvest Market is a pattern by Robin Betterley. I used EQ7 to audition the combination of Moda Gobble Gobble and Saltbox Harvest fabrics. This is only my second Fall Quilt that I have made. Both of these fabrics groups caught my attention and now I’m designing a third quilt. Have a Great Fall!!

    Hello,
Iam very happy to see that ” Fall Fairy ” is submitted for the online contest with all the time problems. The fairy ,s background , the long legs ,the wings and the correct size gives me great pleasure in this quilt.

All the best! Expects more of this type quilt in future.
