Weekly Quilt Contest: Picnics

Congratulations to Sheryl for winning week’s Patriotic quilt contest with her gorgeous quilt Brave American Warrior quilt. She wins a Zippity Doo Dah Fat Quarter Bundle Plus one Panel from Jojo’s Quilt Shoppe.

This week’s theme is Picnics and is sponsored by Sheree’s Alchemy. TWO lucky winners will each win a $25 gift certificate to use in Sheree’s online store.

To enter the weekly contest, read the rules and guidelines, then submit your quilt photo by Thursday evening (EDT). Voting will start on Friday and last until Sunday night.

About Sheree’s Alchemy

My name is Sheree and I am the owner of Sheree’s Alchemy. My motto is LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH…CREATE!

I created Sheree’s Alchemy to share my love of fabric, color and the art of making. I hope you’ll find something here that will inspire you to create lovely things for yourself as well as for those you love. I am primarily a garment maker myself, but have fallen for patchwork and quilting over the last 4 years. I also enjoy knitting, embroidery and felting as well as cooking and gardening. I have a blog too.

In my shop you’ll find an edited selection of fine natural fabrics perfect for sewing, quilting, crafting and home decor projects. I do not endeavour to stock ever single new line that comes out, but I do try to pick up those lines I think are unique and special. Here, you’ll find some lovely organic cotton fabrics in stock. You’ll also find a host of fat quarter and mixed fabric bundles perfect for stash building or for using in your next quilting or patchwork project.

The apparel fabrics we offer are of the highest quality as well. You’ll find new as well as out-of-print, rare and hard to find prints from domestic designers including Amy Butler, Heather Bailey, Anna Maria Horner, Denyse Schmidt, Kaffe Fassett, Momo’s and more. You’ll also find a collection of European and Japanese import fabrics that will really add uniqueness and beauty to your creations. I will be adding some wonderful vintage treasures to the shop soon, so look out for updates on that.

I am excited to sponsor this week’s themed contest! I will give away two $25 dollar gift certificates to my online shop. Here are a few photos of some of my products:
