To enter the weekly contest, read the rules and guidelines, then submit your quilt photo by Thursday. Voting will start on Friday and last until Sunday night.

Keep in mind that you may interpret the theme as you see fit. You may want to submit a quilt that helped you find or restore your faith during a difficult time or perhaps a quilt that you made to show your gratitude to a helping friend. The story you include with your quilt can help to explain your interpretation.

Mary Tatem

Mary Tatem, the author of The Quilt of Life, is a quilter, Bible school teacher, Girl Scout leader, PTA leader, mom of four, and grandmother of fifteen. She speaks to women’s groups and churches on marriage, family relationships, and the grace of God.

Mary has enjoyed writing since she was in elementary school. Back then her stories revolved around giants and other fanciful topics. Now she uses her interests in writing and in quilting to tell the true stories of others and to shine a light on God’s marvelous handiwork. The stories hidden in people’s lives demonstrate the mercy and grace of God and the wonders of faith. Perhaps you have a story to share with her.
