Bunny Faces Bunny Faces

I started quilting about 5 years ago and this is one of my first quilts. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of the pattern.

Easter Baskets Easter Baskets
By: Mamacrafty, Michigan, USA

This is a row robin that went around twice. I sent in 5 yards of yellow fabric total. The accent pieces are 1930 repo’s. The first time around I didn’t have quite enough rows to make a decent size quilt. The second time around there was even enough for me to make curtains and pillows!

Easter Hop Easter Hop
By: Kim Powers, California, USA

I wanted to make a quilt for my Easter table and I’d been admiring Donna Yackey’s pattern “Spring is Here” for some time. In the end, I combined simple piecing with “happy” springtime fabrics and added a few of Donna Yackey’s applique designs as well as my own and Easter Hop was the happy result!

This little cutie came from the Quilt Show website. Carolyn Hughey generously shared the pattern with members. I just had to get it done before Sunday. Is that a face only a mother could love!! :-)

hop hop! hop hop!
By: Naoko, Japan

I used three kinds of fabrics for the foundation because it looks like a flower garden. There are many tiny bees on the top fabrics, I meant honeybee flies around the flowers. Pink felt bunny is hopping, bring spring to us! I embelished embroidery, ribbon and pom pom.

Although I didn’t really have time, my kids really wanted an Easter quilt this year. I woke up last Sunday morning with this little bunny on my mind. After a few sketches, I started chopping up fabric and my new Easter mini quilt was born!

Loved this yummy Fabric that I had purchased from the Fat Quarter Shop a few years ago. Just a simple pattern that I had made to give away to the charity Project Linus for some little one to enjoy. Thanks for offering this great contest.

I found this quilt pattern on the blog: Oh, Fransson! It was really fun to put together. I made it as an Easter present for a dear friend of mine who loves purple. I can’t wait for her to open the package!

Linda's Spring Linda’s Spring
By: Becca Sutton, Nebraska, USA

I recently made string-quilt blocks for my virtual quilting bee & had so much fun that I wanted to sew something for personal use. My MIL celebrates a March birthday–she loved her gift and used the topper to decorate our Easter table. This is my 1st start-to-finish project. I will make this again!

Lynne Goldsworthy Lynne Goldsworthy
By: Lynne, United Kingdom

This is my English spring quilt with Easter chicks in the corners. It was made after a long, cold, snowy winter here. I wanted a bright, modern quilt but using traditional English hexagon paper piecing. There’s a Verna jelly roll in there, an IKEA sheet and a few scraps from the stash!

Memories Memories
By: KellyK, Colorado, USA

A couple of years ago I entered a challenge where the fabrics were to be used with the word MEMORIES had to be added in the wallhanging. For me, “memories” are holidays with my “babies”. My babies are now both maried and we are expecting our first grandchild this summer. New memories to be born.

I designed this quilt to showcase one of my favorite fabric lines, which feels very springlike to me. What better way to welcome Easter than with a whole BUNCH of bunnies?

Quilted Easter Egg Tablerunner Quilted Easter Egg Tablerunner
By: Nancy Harpster, Nebraska, USA

This Easter Egg tablerunner was such fun to make with beautiful pastel Easter colors! The machine appliqued and embroidered eggs are a great accent down the center of the runner. I also made matching potholders that coordinated with the runner and they were great hits in my etsy shop. Thank you!

Springtime Lone Star Springtime Lone Star
By: Nanbon44, Florida, USA

I found this Lone Star pattern and thought my Mother-in-law would love all the spring colors. I added Lilac borders, her favorite color and this beautiful top is now being quiltied for her special Easter Basket. I don’t know if this can be entered in the contest as it is still in the works.

The Bunny Quilt The Bunny Quilt
By: Chris, New Hampshire, USA

This is a quilt depicting Daddy, Mommy and Baby bunny family. I hand appliqued this quilt and machine quilted it. It never really had a name but my family has always referred to it as the “Bunny Quilt”. It is a favorite year round of my 3 yo grandson.

These all look amazing! Very good idea to make a contest like this. Will you be doing the same next Easter in 2012?

I got a lot of inspiration from all the pictures by the way! Thanks for that!
