This quilt is made from the Moda line called Let It Snow. I foundation pieced it using a freezer paper method. It started as an EQ6 project, and I couldn’t decide which colorway to choose. A local quilt shop had these beautiful batiks, and when they asked me to write a pattern, my decision was made.

Created and pieced completely by hand, this winter scene depicts a tiny racoon pausing in the silence of a Winter’s Forest. The paws in the border were hand stamped and the whole piece is hand quilted.
