Friday Give-Away – 10 Patterns from The Quilted Fish
Congratulations to #63 Denise Cheke of Saskatoon, SK who won the one year subscription to Canada’s very own quilting magazine Quilter’s Connection in last week’s give-away. Winners of the first issue are:

This week’s Friday Give-Away has been donated by The Quilted Fish. Ten lucky winners will be chosen to win one of the super cute patterns featured below. Just leave a comment and indicate which pattern you prefer. I’ll randomly choose 10 winners next Thursday.
Amanda Herring is the designer for The Quilted Fish. Amanda has a background in art, fashion design and interior design so quilting was the final piece to the puzzle. Amanda loves to have fun and laugh and those things come across in her patterns. Her patterns are fun and whimsical and always easy to make. Amanda hopes that, through her patterns, she can share the joy of creating with the quilting world.

Piece and Quiet Children’s Activity Book Pattern
The quiet book pattern of your dreams! Any child would love to play with this wonderful book. Perfect to keep them busy at church, a doctor’s appointment or a long road trip. Easy to carry around and fun to play with. Pattern (book) includes instructions to make 10 quiet book pages and cover. Pattern uses lots of scraps and extras that you may already have in your stash.
Whoopsie Daisy
This quilt will make you feel happy every time you see it! It looks great in lots of different colour combinations. It features large rick rack around the flower centres. Easy piecing. Finished size is 47 x 65.

It continually amazes me that the most simple patterns are often the most effective. I love the daisys so much, but my kids would Looove the piece and quiet pattern. ohh my how to choose. I can’t choice I would be happy with either.

I love the Daisy pattern. I am anxious to begin new techniques other than just my strip patterns and this look like the perfect one.
With 9 squirmy grandkids I would love the Piece & Quiet Activity Book pattern. I think it would be great to have my 11 year old granddaughter help me make a book for her 3 year old sister.

I made quiet books for my children and am now getting ready to start for my grandchildren, so I chose the Peace and Quiet pattern book.
Woopsie Daisy has been on my list of projects to make for a while (gotta finish some others first) so I would be thrilled if I actually won the pattern.
