Friday Give-Away – 15 Pack of 1930′s Fat Quarters
July 17th, 2009
Congratulations to #47 Rachel for winning the gorgeous fabrics in last week’s give-away. Thanks to Lori of Hand Dyed Fabrics by Lori for the wonderful donation.

This week’s Friday give-away of 15 gorgeous 1930′s fat quarters has been donated by Jane’s Fabrics.
She started her on-line fabric store in 2004. She loves bright happy colors, but also specializes in 1930 reproduction prints. Her love of fabric comes from her mother who was a sewer and her great-grandmother who was a quilter. She took that love of fabric and now sell as janesfabrics.com where she specializes in 100% cotton fabrics for all your quilting and sewing needs. Jane has a blog too.
For your chance to win the 15 pack of 1930′s fat quarters, please leave a comment below. Contest closes Thursday, July 23rd, 2009. One lucky winner will be randomly chosen.
UPDATE: This contest is now closed. Congratulations to #4 Wendy Culbreath for winning the gorgeous fat quarters. Thanks again to Jane’s Fabrics for the donation. Check out the most recent Friday Give-Away.

News flash! My DIL is in the hospital having my 8th grandbaby…I’ll be praying all day! Trying to keep my mind occupied surfing the web. This would be a great win to commemorate this birth…Anyway, those 30′s are luscious. I’ve been working on a glorified 9 patch off and on for a couple of years. Haven’t started sewing the curves yet…I’m alittle intimidated by that…but these 30′s would be great to add more blocks and really give this quilt some meaning for the new baby…I could leave this quilt to him/her if I win….lovely thought!
What great fabrics ,it would be thrilling to win something so pretty .Thanks Hazel

Hi Jane, the fabrics are gorgeous! They will look so good in my hexagon quilt and since I’m a hexagon addict I’m always short of fabric. Thank you for the chance. Regards from Anita (The Netherlands).
How fabulous these are … I’m about to start a ‘Seven Sisters’ quilt with 6 other friends scattered around the world (7 ‘sisters’ all together). One of the ‘sisters’ visited the US last year and brought back a green fabric that we all have to use in our individual quilts … adding our own favourite fabrics to it. I’ve been yearning to use 30s fabrics in a quilt … when I look at the 30s fabrics they remind me of the fun and cheer my friends bring to me … so I decided mine would be ’30s Sisters’. These fabrics would add some more love from yet another ‘sister’. Angela (Australia)

My sister just raided my 30′s stash for a class she is taking in a couple of weeks. This would do wonders to build it back up!
Thank you so very much Jane. I would love to win the 1930′s fabric. I have never had any before as we are retired and can’t really afford to purchase the better fabric for quilting or home decorating. Thou I am always looking and dreaming of them. This would be just wonderful. I’m sure that the winner will be thrilled and make a wonderful quilt with them. Oh, I so hope it is me. Again thank you very much for opportunity and chance to win such wonderful fabric, and Jane thank you again for donating them.
Beautiful fabrics! I would love to win!
