Friday Give-Away – Two Rulers from June Tailor

Congratulations to #80 HollyFabric Mom for winning a pair of 8″ fabric shears in last week’s Friday Give-Away donated by the Simplicity Creative Group.

Friday Give-Aways from the Quilting Gallery

This week’s Friday Give-Away is two rulers to create perfect half-square and quarter-square triangles by June Tailor.

If you’ve ever used the Shape Cut rulers, the concept is similar. This is a new product released at Spring Market.

I had the pleasure of meeting Katy from June Tailor at Market. Their booth was across the aisle from mine. Here’s a photo of their gorgeous booth and some of their new products.

Those rulers looks fantastic, if I am not lucky enough to win I need to buy those.

I hate it when my half square triangles are wonky. This product looks like it will really help me be accurate.

  21. Penny Globe says:

Do you know, one great thing about these rulers is that they have a hole in them so you can thread a brrrrrright piece of ribbon. The brighter the better, and the longer the better so I can find it when it gets buried, the tail is more often than not still visible. I have a 6 1/2″ square and that is deadly because it has no hole and well, does your work surface look like mine? ….6 1/2″ square gets swollowed up pretty easily. I now have several of the little guys and usually one can be found.
Regardless, rulers, squares, triangles, a good measurement is essential for a beautiful finished product.
