Friday Give-Away – 8″ Fabric Shears
Congratulations to last week’s winners: #15 Christine, #31 Barbara, #7 Penny and #64 Mindy. They each won one of the gorgeous appliqué patterns donated by Sisters’ Scraps Quilt Shop from last week’s give-away.
This week’s Friday Give-Away is a pair of 8″ Fabric Shears donated by the Simplicity Creative Group.
I was very fortunate to have Simplicity as my booth neighbour at Spring Market and to meet Michele Muska there. We were able to chat at various times throughout the weekend. I am grateful for her ideas, wisdom, support and generosity.

These scissors are lovely. My husband ALWAYS asks me before picking up a pair of scissors, “Are these ok to cut [something other than fabric]?” :) I gave my grandmother a beautiful new pair of shears for Christmas one year, which she then used to cut open any gifts that had come taped up or in a cardboard box. Gah! A new pair of scissors is always appreciated in MY house :) Thanks for the chance at the giveaway.

I just about kill myself every time I have to go cut out fabric. I think the sharpest pair of “fabric shears” I own are child’s safety scissors.

My dear husband wrecked my good shears. I need a new pair.
I can always remember, as a child, having to ask if the scissors I wanted to use were the “good” scissors or not. The only way to cut fabric is with quality scissors!
