Friday Give-Away – Four Gorgeous Appliqué Patterns

Congratulations to last week’s winners: #49 Sue and #106 Jenice. They each won a fat quarter pack donated by the West Plains Quilt Company.
This week’s Friday Give-Away is four gorgeous appliqué patterns generously donated by Sisters’ Scraps Quilt Shop of Amarillo, Texas.
Sisters’ Scraps Quilt Shop was started six years ago when five quilting friends decided to open a quilt shop together. They opened on historic Route 66 and quickly outgrew their first home and moved to their present, easy-to-find location.
They offer 3,200 sq. feet of great shopping which includes 2,500 bolts of quilters cotton, original quilt designs, hand embroidery patterns and supplies, and beautiful and affordable Block-of-the-Month programs. Their shop is filled with beautiful samples to inspire and motivate you in your creative endeavors. You will always find a helpful, friendly staff ready to assist you with your quilting projects. Sisters’ Scraps was selected as one of the ten quilt shops featured in the May 2008 edition of Quilt Sampler magazine.

Two of each of these patterns will be given away to four lucky winners:
Baskets in Bloom – This pretty baskets of flowers pattern is an original design from Sisters’ Scraps. The quilt measures approximately 61″ x 62″.
Autumn Spendor – This Sisters’ Scraps original design combines both pieced and appliqué blocks to make this a quilt to “Fall” in love with. The finished size is 54″ x 61″.

It is wonderful how the internet has changed the world and changed something like the passion for quilting. I have ventured into new areas of quilting that I would have never done without the influence of new found friends on the internet. Today, I learn about a group of gals in Texas who have toughed their friendships and gone into business together. That takes great strength to do that and 6 years later you are still friends. Congratulations to you. I wish I lived close to your store, but as geography would have it, I am as remotely north as you are south. May you have continued success and I will be sure to look in on your website from time to time.

You always have the nicest patterns . And I really enjoy your blog. School is out and I get to sew sew sew all summer. I love being able to finish my tops and get them ready for winter. Course it still seems like winter here right now.. showers forecast for the sierra mountains, can you believe it?
Well, the tile guys are on their way to re-do my bathroom which is soooo long over due. My house is over 40 years old and this is only the second time its been done. I have the original bathtub. Loving it!

I love these patterns! The outside borders of each one really make the quilt!
As usual, these are awesome. My sister has made a lot of quilts, and these remind me of some she made. She has two or three of her quilts hanging in the local courthouse and changes them out with the seasons. The community loves her quilts, and I think it is very sweet of her to share with others. She used to work at the courthouse.
