Katy Allgeyer from Feng Shui By Fishgirl created this very unique necktie quilt using her boyfriend’s unused neckties.

What a great idea to repurpose the neckties into something unique and colourful.

This is very nice. Now I know what to do with this tub of ties I have collected through the years.

I’m always a fan of using odd or unique types of material for quilting and this is a great looking example of it.

That is beautiful – I love the way you can recycle old ties by making a quilt that looks awesome and has lots of meaning (if the ties belonged to a family member ;-))..

    Very cool!
I’m currently working on a quilt using well.. sugar. I was curious if you happen to know about any quilting contests that don’t require the quilt to be entirely made of cloth..
