Living Healing Quilt Project
Promoting Healing – One Stitch at a Time

This post is part of the Living Healing Quilt Project that honours the strength, courage, and commitment of Indian Residential School Survivors. This quilt block is from Quilt 2 – Crimes Against Humanity.

Throughout my life, I’ve always been taught to love and respect my Creator, and give thanks every day for the sun and moon. We were taught to only love so through my journey I’ve met my Sisters, the Queens. We survive a lot together and build a solid foundation of honour and self-respect, all thanks to the teachings of my Great-Grandma, Lillian Nanticoke, the Button.
