Quilting Gallery Blog

Blogger Assistance

I’m hoping someone could help me out. I get a few requests a week from Quilting Bloggers that would like to add one of the logos to their sidebar, but they don’t know how. Since I don’t have a Blogger/Blogspot account, I’m not able to tell them how to do it.

If someone has time and could send me the detailed step-by-step instructions on how to do this, it would be greatly appreciated. Either post in the comments, or if you want to send me the instructions in email that would be great too. Thanks!!

Speaking of logos, there’s a new 125px square logo available for Quilting Bloggers. You can see it below. What do you think of it?

Update: Many thanks to Nicolette for sending me the blogger instructions. I’ll get them posted later on today.

Personally I think it needs more color.

  2. Fabricfaire says:

    Yes, I agree w/Amelia…brighter colors!

  3. Mishka says:

Just a note .. I did want a pale one … since the others available are super-bright. I’ll ask my designer to do a brighter one that size when I can afford to do it. :)

Thanks for the comments so far.

I like the other logo better. Maybe you could make that one again using softer colours.

I will send you an email to explain how to put a logo with a link in the sidebar of a blogspot blog!

Hi Michele: In terms of marketing, I feel you should stay with the one logo for your sitem and similar for both quilting gallery and quilting bloggers. That way there is no confusion and the logo is quickly recognized.

Thanks for adding me to the site list. It’s fun to come here and look at new to me blogs.
I’d like to add the cheerful logo to my blog sidebar but I don’t want it to take readers away from my blog.
If I add a link in a post I insert target=new(plus one space) before the ” in the link. that isn’t working with your HTML insert. Can you fix that?
Thanks, will check back in a few days and see if it’s changed.
    All the best, KalamaQuilts

    Hi Sharyn,
I’ll answer you in email, as there’s no reason why you can’t add that code to the HTML I’ve supplied, so I want to send you the code to use.
