I just adore this Bow Tie Cats pattern designed by Mary Graham. You’re pretty much on your own to figure out how to put it together, as the instructions aren’t the best. All the templates are included along with a layout of where they go in the design.

I did those kitties for my kitty quilt .. and you’re right .. the instructions are non-existent .. it would have been nice if there was an exploded diagram in piecing order at least .. but once you figured it out, it did go pretty well .. i’ve posted the pics i made of them and other blocks here – http://qzone-ca.com/kittyquilt/scrapsnclaws.htm
